The Deputy Governor of Osun State, Prince Kola Adewusi, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sunday Bisi and the state Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Moshood Olagunju are said to be at loggerheads over the composition of the Imole Campaign Council, OSUN DEFENDER reliably gathered.
The medium learnt that the Youth Commissioner is said to be aggrieved over his exclusion from the Imole Youth Campaign Team allegedly by Bisi who composed the list.
The medium gathered that Olagunju, who feels agitated with the situation, had gone ahead to form a parallel Youth Campaign Team, appointing the Afrobeats star, David Adeleke (Davido) as Chairman while the Commissioner serves as Youth Advisor.
This, according to reports, has caused division within the Governor Ademola Adeleke campaign organisation.
Similarly, OSUN DEFENDER learnt that the situation was the same in the students Committee as the list has generated rift between Bisi and the Deputy Governor.
Bisi was said to be making efforts to shortchange and reduce the influence of Adewusi on the Students’ Campaign Committee which is why the committee is yet to be inaugurated.
In a release by the Secretary of Youths Mobilisation Campaign Committee, Prince Idowu Adewole Gbenga, the public was warned to disregard the parallel Committee formed by the Commissioner.
He said the officially recognised leadership and structure of the Committee is headed by Davido as Chairman; Hon. Kayode Ododo as Vice Chairman and himself as Secretary.
