The Nigerian naira traded at about ₦1,324.42 to the United States dollar at the latest mid-market exchange rate on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
The rate means that $1 is equivalent to approximately ₦1,324.42, although the actual amount received when buying or selling dollars may vary depending on the market and financial institution involved.
At the parallel market, the dollar was reportedly sold for about ₦1,410, while buyers offered around ₦1,385 per dollar.
This puts the gap between the reported parallel-market selling rate and the mid-market rate at about ₦86 per dollar.
For Nigerians monitoring foreign exchange movements, the exchange rate remains important as changes in the value of the naira against the dollar affect the prices of imported goods, international transactions, travel expenses and other dollar-denominated payments.
At the reported parallel-market selling rate of ₦1,410 to the dollar, $10 would be about ₦14,100, $50 about ₦70,500, $100 about ₦141,000, while $1,000 would be approximately ₦1.41 million.
The official foreign exchange rate may differ from rates offered by banks, Bureau de Change operators and the parallel market.
